Tuition and Financial Aid

Because a significant portion of the university's operating costs are paid from the tithes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, students who are tithe-paying members of The Church of Jesus Christ have already contributed to the operations of the university. Non-LDS students, because they will not have made this contribution, are charged higher tuition.

Tuition

BYU short-term loans are not available for EMPA students. Federal Stafford loans are subsidized by the U.S. government and are available only to U.S. citizens. EMPA students may be eligible for Stafford loans. EMPA students are not eligible for Pell grants. For applications or more information contact the BYU Financial Aid Office in A-41 ASB, (801) 378-4104.

Sponsorship

The skills and abilities learned in the Romney EMPA program add immediate value to you and your employer. Many organizations fund some or all of their employees' tuition. Please check with your Human Resource Department for tuition reimbursement programs.
