Marriott School Clubs
The Student Council
The Student Council acts as an umbrella organization for over 25 clubs. The Student Council helps new clubs organize and existing clubs schedule and manage resources. Members of the student council include the President, two Vice-Presidents, Master Program Association Presidents, the MUSA President, and Marriott School SAC reps. Contact Graham Harr (Student Council President).
MUSA (Marriott Undergraduate Student Association)
All undergraduate students are automatically members of MUSA. This association has the support of the faculty and staff of the Marriott School, as it strives to improve the overall student experience for every undergraduate student in the Marriott School. Visit the MUSA website to view the calendar and learn how become an active member of MUSA. If you have questions or are interested in getting involved, e-mail Jake Park (MUSA President) for more information.
Registration and Dues
Club registration and payment of dues is done online. When you are ready to register for a club, have your credit card ready and log in at the Marriott School Club Registration login page. Follow the given instructions. If you do not receive a receipt at the end of the processs, the registration was not complete. Please contact the Marriott School Web Team if this happens to you. The Association for Systems Management (ASM) is a Marriott School student organization that expands student's knowledge of the Information Systems industry, offering training on new and useful skills. By providing students with guidance in their school and career planning, the ASM keeps students informed and gives them a chance to build relationships, network, and have fun. The ASM is also dedicated to supporting recruiters in publicizing and organizing events. The goal of ASM officers is to provide services to both students and the community by improving awareness of the Information Systems industry.
ASM is designed to be fully complimentary to the BS Information Systems and the Masters of Information Systems Management programs. ASM is the largest and most active club in BYU's Marriott School. Our membership consists of a significant majority of the Information Systems program, as well as technology-savvy students from other programs in the school. Members of ASM want to learn emerging technologies, network with prospective employers, and have fun.

In addition to promoting the mission of BYU and the Marriott School, the primary mission of the Graduate Finance Association is to better prepare graduate school candidates to interview for and accept positions in the field of finance. The Association will offer valuable skill-building workshops, lectures from practitioners in the field of finance and also work with Career Services to increase our member’s marketability in their career placement efforts. We recognize the unique expectations that employers have for recruits at the graduate level as well as the fact that MBA, MOB, MAcc, MISM , and MPA students have very demanding class and recruiting schedules. Therefore, the Graduate Finance Association will be a focused organization with clear objectives and limited but value-added activities and functions.

The Management Consulting Club helps BYU undergraduates launch management consulting careers. We offer exposure to the industry, details on the recruiting process at BYU, networking opportunities with current and former consultants and alumni, interview preparation and practice, leadership opportunities, and over 100 online preparation resources through the MCC Blackboard account. Our organization is geared primarily toward undergraduate placement as most major firms do not generally recruit BYU MBA students at this time. However, the resources we have available will be pertinent to both undergraduate and graduate career preparation. Please see our website at mcc.byu.edu for more information and a list of upcoming events.

The undergraduate Marketing Association of Brigham Young University is a student club organized to educate, to encourage, and to support members in understanding how to successfully market themselves, and to provide exposure to career opportunities in the business world. All club members will receive access to the club wiki at byuma.pbwiki.com, also known as "The Ultimate Guide for the BYU Marketing Major." This wiki will help you properly prepare for graduation and workforce competitiveness if you use it and refer to it often. It will help you learn about things like marketing positions and career paths, internships and job placement, resumes and interviewing, marketing classes and professors, and scholarships among other things. Perhaps most important, this guide will show you the specific things that you can do, in the proper sequence, to be competitive when you graduate. The wiki will be very useful to all Management majors with a marketing emphasis and to anyone else learning whether they want to go into marketing. There are also club activities and leadership opportunities.
IMPORTANT: When you join the club you will automatically receive an email from the club. The email will be sent to your email address listed on Route Y. Read this email. It will give you instructions on how to gain access to the wiki.

The MBA Student Association (MBAA) is an organization developed and run by
students to provide both social and business related extracurricular
activities. All MBA students in the full-time program are automatically
adopted into the membership of this association. In the past, the MBAA has
sponsored seminars by nationally known business professionals, firesides by
prominent LDS Church authorities, community service projects, barbecues,
sports and cultural activities, dinners, and dances. The most important
activities of the MBAA relate to student involvement in promoting excellence
in the program. We have nine different divisions that make up the
MBAA—Academic Affairs, Alumni Relations, Athletics, Communications, Finance,
Recruiting, Service, Single Affairs, Social Affairs, and Spiritual Issues.
Second year students head-up the committees comprised of both first and
second year elected individuals. All committees make valuable contributions
within the MBAA and to the MBA community as a whole.
